The world is currently facing an unprecedented infectious disease pandemic: the COVID-19 virus. (Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh) Health Trust is a public health organization established in memory of the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh who identified and contained Nigeria's first Ebola patient – saving countless lives - but lost her life in the process.

Through DRASA, we continue her legacy of protecting public health and to date, we have trained over 1,000 health professionals to become champions of preventing and controlling the spread of infectious disease. DRASA is now supporting the fight against COVID-19 as a member of the Emergency Response Operations Team in Lagos State - the epicenter of Nigeria's COVID-19 outbreak.

As the number of cases continues to increase, it is clear that Nigeria does not have enough trained health personnel to manage a public health crisis of this magnitude.

There is an urgent need to train at least 500 additional health workers to work in the COVID-19 facilities being established around the country and ensure that while they are treating patients, they can also protect themselves and prevent further spread of the infection.

Please support our efforts. No amount is too small. Together, we can defeat COVID-19 in Nigeria.
